I am a small-time lender on Prosper.com. I’ve been lending since May 2006 and have obtained 40 loans. My lending name on Prosper.com is not PR. I am reluctant to disclose my lending name, because Prosper.com has closed some lender’s accounts without notice; I intend to recover what money I can and do not want to take a chance that they might close my account. I’m sure that sounds paranoid, but I don’t trust them at this point. For now, I’ve stopped prospering at Prosper.com.
